Drinking enough water is key for overall body function. If you are not drinking enough water throughout the day you are not performing at your highest level. Keep your body strong your mind sharp and your energy high by drinking large amounts of water.

Look at it this way: water is like gasoline; in order to run you need a full tank. So it is key to keep yourself hydrated!

For muscle function, metabolism and joint lubrication and just for a healthy GI tract it is so important for an adequate amount of water. It will also keep your skin looking smooth and give you healthy hair.

Also try to add some electrolytes to your water. This will help with the taste and give you some more added fuel for your workouts. I like to add lemon to my water as well as frozen fruit to give my water a better taste.

If you are experiencing some of these symptoms you might be dehydrated: dizziness, loss of appetite, weakness, elevated heart rate, fatigue, headaches and dry mouth. If you are suffering from any of these then go get a large glass of water and start getting rehydrated.
